This is how we look like on a +35°C day with strong sun. I’ve this hat that does not look nice but it’s great as it protects my face and neck from the sun. Wearing long trousers after starting to have some kind of allergy to the sun.

C’est parti! – On the St. James way
Here is a short summary of our first days. Sorry for not writing more often. We end the days exhausted and there is no energy to take out the laptop and write. Thanks all of you for the support message. Looking forward to your comments. Next posts will surely be small stories of events and elements of our trip. Stay tuned.

First change of itinerary, we needed to leave a copy of our keys at Gio and Anne’s place on the other side of the Geneva. Continue reading “C’est parti! – On the St. James way”
Cycling
We just arrived to Vienne, but too tired to write. First few days with good temperature but bad sleeping. Now the heat wave is making our heads bang inside the helmets. Please don’t expect updates before the weekend.
Last working day
On the way to my last working day looking forward for the trip. It is always sad and strange to say “see you next year” to colleagues. I hope that our trip inspires people not to be afraid and also get a break from work to do what they mostly like to do, being that travel or something else.
Weather for Monday seems good for a starting. Some wind – bise – from North East which hopefully will be on our backs and a nice temperature. We wonder how the camping places will be after all the rain…
Our direction is roughly Le Puy-en-Velay, Toulouse, Bilbao, “el camino francés” and at some point turn to Portugal, direction Apúlia/Ofir in the North coast.
