Comme ça commencent nos journées en hiver en Europe. Heureusement à partir de cette après-midi (et un col à 1500m) la pluie donnera place au soleil. Le moral est haut, mais les chaussures d’Eva sont toujours humides.

Feet first into Santiago: El Camino del Norte on recumbent bicycles
From the 6th to the 22nd of July 2016 we cycled 893 kilometres from Bayonne to Santiago de Compostela, following mostly the northern way or camino del norte (with a few variations). Here we share some of our experiences and some tips that we hope may be useful for other people wanting to cycle in the north of Spain. We did not follow the actual signposted Santiago way, as with our heavily loaded touring recumbents (about 30 kg of luggage each) it would have been too tough. We usually followed the closest roads. De rivières et de montagnes
Récit de notre étape de Santiago de Compostela à Apúlia (24.7. au 1.8.2016)
Après notre « rush » pour Santiago, nous avons tout à coup beaucoup de temps. Pour une étape que nous pourrions faire en 3 à 4 jours, il nous reste 9 jours de voyage jusqu’à notre rendez-vous avec la famille. Nous décidons donc de visiter encore un peu plus de Galicia. Two thousand kilometers
On the 25th July, at the top of the hill between Pontevedra and Carballiño we celebrated the 2’000km of our trip.
Finally, as we have some time left to arrive to the Portuguese coast, we decided to zigzag a bit and pass by Ourense and Gerês National Park in the North of Portugal to relax. More information on that on the next updates.
